Promote your Business …

We have partnered with Hamilton’s very own Made In Scotland to manage our digital marketing from the start of June. This new and exciting relationship enables us to produce social media content using professionally shot images and content production that will portray your business at its very best. This local business knows our town inside and out and will be working with us to ensure your business and indeed the town is front and centre across our social media channels.

We aim to visit your business on request every 5 weeks through the year to enable the creation of new content. To book your visit simply let us know by emailing malcolm.thomasharley@hamiltonbid.org We will be back in touch with the visit date.

Look out for our new website …

Getting your business’ message out there is of vital importance. We know this so we are creating a new website with the team at Made In Scotland that is up to date in its look and feel and has new value adding features. One such feature will be the business showcase sections on the main page alongside a whole section just for businesses in the service industry.

If you want your business to be promoted on our new website launching in June, please get in touch by emailing malcolm.thomasharley@hamiltonbid.org.

Summer Market …

Re engaging our customers with the town centre and in turn driving footfall will be a vital component of our recovery through the next period. With restrictions easing but a degree of uncertainty remaining plans around footfall driving initiatives require a considered and agile approach.

We are looking at options to run a Market each Saturday in August on Quarry Street. See key points below and link to a small survey to capture your opinion on this.

  1. Proposed location – Quarry Street. This will drive footfall into the heart of the improvement district
  2. Stall holders – We propose providing a large proportion of stalls for FREE to BID levy payers. We will also invite high quality and experienced Lanarkshire stall holders to augment the mix
  3. Layout – x30 back to back stalls on the middle of the street in an effort to drive footfall into the existing businesses
  4. Marketing – The BID will launch a summer campaign across the region to promote the Market and the improvement district area
