Hays Travel Hamilton are delighted to be ‘Open for Business‘. Julie and her team are “so happy” to be able to welcome customers – old & new – to their Branch in the Regent Shopping Centre.?? We caught up with Julie who is “looking forward once more to helping to create fantastic holidays & memories” …
It has been a tricky time for Julie & her team – firstly with the collapse of Thomas Cook and the subsequent takeover by Hays Travel, then – almost immediately – the unprecedented challenges presented by the Covid-19 crisis.
Julie says “We have been on such an emotional roller coaster – with lockdown resulting in our customers being disappointed in not getting their holiday this year. We are delighted to say we have looked after all of our amazing, loyal customers and either re-booked or refunded them as quickly as we could … all whilst working from home. And then from 17th July when we were delighted to be able to serve them from our shop”.
What they do best …
The team are “incredibly happy” to be back doing what they do best – serving their customers and finding them their perfect holiday. Hays Travel has launched their new campaign called PEACE OF MIND guarantee which allows customers to amend or cancel outwith 6 weeks with selected airlines. Terms and conditions do apply, but as Julie says: “There really is no better time to book than now.”
The Hays Travel Hamilton team would like to thank all their customers. “We have been blown away by their generosity, kindness and warm wishes” says Julie, adding: “The team has shared all the lovely cards, gifts and kind messages on our Facebook page. It’s fair to say a few tears have been shed in the process!”
Julie continues: “What has struck me more than anything is the impact that John and Irene Hays have had on our customers.?? So many are popping in to say they haven’t booked in the shop for a while – or have booked online – but after hearing John & Irene speaking on TV, and seeing just how down to earth and passionate they are about looking after and keeping their customers updated, they’ve promised that they’ll definitely be booking their holidays with us ongoing.”
