Calling all BID hospitality businesses!
The BID is reviewing options for an outdoor seating initiative. We want to understand if a combined seating area within the town would benefit any of the businesses.
The area would be a temporary space situated in a location where business could operate and manage but under separate licences if applicable. Participant numbers and operational considerations will be central to the plan moving forward. This plan is at a very early stage and we are assessing options based upon the response to this communication. Please get in touch via this link if interested.

Further support …
We are supporting the town for re-opening. More than ever the town must provide an alternative to online shopping. We know that our town centre must be clean, tidy and well presented to provide customers shopping in the area an alternative experience to online shopping. As part of this work we have covered the former Baird’s building façade in a wrap to improve the look and feel of the area until the owner opens in the future.
This initiative forms part of ongoing work to improve the BID area customer experience.
In addition, we keep our blog updated with the latest support news. The info shared is from South Lanarkshire Council as well as the Scottish & UK Governments – covering all manner of areas of business help. Just click on the block below for more …
