Hamilton Market returns:

Our Market is back on Saturday 27^th May in the Regent Centre, 10am – 4pm. If anyone wishes to take a stall or get involved, please get in touch!

Road works:

We are aware of the road works on Quarry Street and the ongoing disruption adding to further issues already present on the street. We have contacted the roads department for clarity on when these works will end and to express concern regarding the current impact. We are also awaiting feedback regarding the fencing outside the old Pauls Baby shop and when this will be removed. We understand that this fencing was erected due to safety concerns related to the building.

Quarry Street Opening:

The date and plans for the opening of the street for free 30min parking will be provided to us shortly. Once we have this information it will be communicated.

Pride Guide / business involvement:

We are hosting Pride South Lanarkshire on the 28^th & 29^th July this year. There will be lots of opportunity for businesses to be involved in these events which are now only a few months away. Here’s our top suggestions on how to get involved. If interested, please contact malcolm.thomasharley@hamiltonbid.org

1. Donate a prize. We will be fundraising for LGBTQ+ related organisations through this event. A raffle or competition could be a great way to raise awareness and funds.
2. Get your business included in the Pride Guide! This will be a guide to the event and the BID area and has the potential to be seen be many thousands of new visitors to the town.
3. If you’re looking to spend on marketing, become a sponsor! Sponsorship funds will be used to host the event and will provide excellent exposure across the area to the sponsors.
4. Put on a special event! Why not create a theme or event within your business for the weekend that ties in with Pride South Lanarkshire. We are happy to support with suggestions / feedback.
