30min Free Parking Trial:

The trial which sees free 30min parking on Quarry Street, Cadzow and Townhead street (in the bays) has commenced. We have identified an opportunity for the council to improve communication regarding the start and end points of the parking zone on Quarry Street. In addition, the signage that states, ‘No deliveries’ is misleading. As a result, the local authority are reviewing options to enhance / change the signage. For the project to continue beyond the end of the trial period, and for the potential of further proposals, we are requesting your feedback via this link https://forms.gle/AUuU4RCuBKMbSJ6aA. If this trial is positively impacting your business, please report this back as we will require this feedback to support any future strategic work on the subject.

Hamilton Masterplan:

The local authority has released information with regards to the masterplan, see link  https://www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk/view/news/article/2101/masterplan_for_hamilton_town_centre_revealed. We will continue to communicate updates to ensure you are fully informed.
