Scotland Loves Local week – get involved:

We’re getting behind this years SLL week through a series of TikTok video’s, promoting local businesses! If you would like a visit to your business next week, let us know by emailing info@hamiltonbid.org The market is also running on the 31st August indoors, let us know if you would like to get involved. This could include taking a market table (limited availability), leafleting, running a market day / Scotland love local promotion or any other creative idea that we could support and promote.

Christmas Festival:

This year we have activities running over 4 dates through the festive season. This will include our Christmas Market, festive trail, Christmas Light Switch on taking place 23rd November on Quarry Street and some new and exciting additions to our offering! Pride South Lanarkshire update:

Our footfall provider Place informatics have now reported on this event with regards on the day estimated footfall within the BID area. Versus this July’s average Saturday footfall, the event produced +31% increase in visitors within the BID area, year on year +25%. This event, run by Lanarkshire Pride CIC and supported this year by Hamilton Our Town, is set to return in 2025, subject to funding.
