B2B Newsletter: 28th October 2020

Tell us what you’re planning …

A message from our BID manager …

We are all aware of the challenges and restrictions that may impact our businesses.  Whatever decisions are taken out with our control, we want to be prepared and want to ensure we’re able to support not only you – our levy-payers – but also your customers. To that end, please let me know your plans via this email link – especially if they mean diversifying your business model to online/takeaway services.

We will feature your business, links to your website and anything you need to reach our customers – all to ensure you are able to trade in some form. Don’t forget our eMarketPlace platform is also available for you to sell online if required.

Our Christmas Videos …

Thank you to all who have been in touch asking to feature in our upcoming videos. We’ve commissioned videos to promote the diverse range business and have chosen 6 categories:

  1. Hospitality/Leisure
  2. Fashion Retail
  3. Food Retail
  4. General Retail
  5. Financial / Real Estate
  6. A general feature on the town centre

Don’t miss out: if you want to feature, please drop me an email via this link by Friday 6th November and we’ll add you to our list.

eMarketPlace …

Our new e-commerce platform provides you with the opportunity to sell and promote products and services online. Access is free for businesses to set up and use. As we are facing uncertain times where physical visits remain subject to ongoing restrictions, it is really key that businesses make the very most of online opportunities. Please get in touch with me if you want to get your products and services online. We can help to set you up – and provide you with access to our toolkit to help manage your pages.

Business support grants …

We’re delighted to share another Blog on how our business support grants are helping levy-payers – this time, featuring the work undertaken by Dnisi …

The grants are open to all businesses to apply and can be used for external improvements of your ‘shop front’. Businesses pay 50% of the costs of the work with the other 50% covered by the BID.
