Counting down to re-opening …
Working in collaboration with South Lanarkshire Council., we have identified areas of the town requiring cleaning and maintenance. Over the next few weeks, work will be carried out in preparation for restrictions easing and businesses re opening. We are also have plans to set up a community town centre group that will support litter picking and reporting of issues.

Supporting our town … The BID exists to improve the business prospects in our town: to be successful with this mission, working in collaboration with businesses and listening to your views is vital.

We’re already working with partners and stakeholders on a Spring clean that is improving areas of the town centre – just click on the image below to see a video of recent work at the bus station.

Cleaning up our town …

We are also hoping to set up working groups within the town centre that will focus energy on the specific streets / location.

I am aiming to start this with a Quarry Street / Quarry Lane / Lamb Street working group. The purpose is for you to participate in discussions around what you may need to improve business prospects on the street.

More than ever we need to listen and work together to support each other. If interested in joining this group please fill in the very short form via this link and I will be in touch.
