The Reindeers & Santa are coming to town!

This Saturday we have a whole host of fantastic entertainment across the day at the Christmas Market starting at 11am. (Market opens at 10am). We have the likes of An Abba Dream, MLU Breakdance, Jane Henderson and the fabulous Samby Ya Bamba returning. You can enjoy our entertainment from the stage at the Top Cross, on the bandstand and in the street across the day.

Our Reindeers will arrive on the town square area in the afternoon and anyone wishing to walk behind the parade which starts at 14:30 can do so from the town square. Santa and the Reindeers will walk up Quarry Street to the Christmas Tree where they will depart at around 3pm. You can then enjoy a Fireshow from the team at Think Circus as Santa leaves the street. And of course check out the market, our great shops and cafe’s and the funfair on Townhead Street too!
