Our I’m Helping Hamilton initiative asks customers to pledge their support to three of their favourite local businesses – with a promise to back that support with actual spend, in person or online.
If we all spend local, it will make a huge difference to our town! And as a thank you to those who engage with the campaign, there’s an added reward. Here’s how it works …
1.
Customers are invited to pledge that they will support at least three local businesses as part of our ongoing #ShopLocal #ShopHamilton campaign
2.
They are then asked to share a selfie outside their favourite businesses – tagging #ImHelpingHamilton
3.
We will keep an eye on the hashtags and reward a shopper – choosing a winner to receive £100 of vouchers to be spent in the town

Our Local Showcase
Over and above all of our day-to-day engagement and support, we will be doing more to promote small, independent businesses in the town. Between the 19th and 23rd December, we will be visiting businesses to shoot short clips – some using Facebook live – that will give a snapshot to encourage shoppers to visit and support Hamilton.
