Festive Plans
It may only be September but were only 15 weeks until Christmas! This year we have another superb set of events planned and promoted via our festive guide, socials and the press. If you would like your business to feature in this popular online festive guide, get in touch at info@hamiltonbid.org Last year the guide was downloaded over 8,000 times. As always, we’ll be featuring the market at all of our festive dates. If you would like to trade at the market, the cost is zero for BID area organisations and businesses.
The Christmas Light Switch on will take place on the 23rd November on Quarry Street. In addition, we will be hosting a Christmas trail , Christmas markets, our own Panto and more… We will be announcing the full set of events soon. The next Hamilton Market date is Saturday 5th October within the Regent Centre.

Town centre free wi fi
We’ve been delighted to be able to provide the town centre with our free wi-fi for another year. On average so far in 2024 the system has received 1,285 connections/customers per month, providing the community with a valued free-to-access connection option within the BID area.
